Cool, I love their new album, I think Anette is more expressive than Tharia, though that doesn't mean I dislike Turunen.

Well, I think that both Tarja and Anette are expressive in their own ways. They each have ways of presenting the songs to the audience. Anette is easier to understand, which might make her performance seem more expressive. :shrug: I don't know. It's so hard to compare. As far as I am concerned, there is Old Nightwish and New Nightwish; two completely different animals.

You're quite right here. But what I like is that the spirit is still the same, because it's still Tuomas who is the soul of the band. Many people forget that.

Very true. The vocals are different, but from what I've heard, read, and seen of the band members, it seems as though the general feelings of the band have remained intact. And that makes me happy. :3

Seriously though, I couldn't be more pleased about that. If they had lost that feeling, and especially if the music itself had changed drastically, I'd be quite upset.
